Course Description: |
This course is for people who will work in the BNC laboratories and covers facility policies and procedures, safety information and the Right-To-Know program. This provides access to the general laboratories though additional training will be necessary for special hazards such as lasers, and biological laboratories. This training does not provide access to the cleanrooms. Missing a scheduled training session will result in immediate two week removal from all training calendars. THIS TRAINING IS ONLY OFFERED TWICE A MONTH. If there are no sessions listed or you need to schedule a session on a different day, then request additional session.

Course Description: |
Safety policies and procedures for using chemicals in fume hoods. This is required before you may use chemical fume hoods in any laboratory or cleanroom in the Birck Nanotechnology Center.
Missing a scheduled training session will result in immediate two week removal from all training calendars.
Sessions are typically scheduled for Thursday mornings at 11am in BRK-2261. If there are no sessions listed or you need to schedule a session on a different day, then request additional session. |
