Purdue is testing a device called the Biowall that is a living wall of plants integrated with the HVAC system of a buildiong to improve indoor air quality and potentially reduce energy consumption. The Biowall is being evaluated as part of a student competition sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency called the EPA P3.
Expected Student Contributions:
Market research related to a homeowner's acceptance and percieved value of a Biowall. Also design the research team's external communications for the EPA P3 competition held in Washington, DC in Spring 2014.

GPA > 3.0, junior standing or higher, graduation May 2014 or later, coursework in marketing, web development, communications, public relations, and related fields
