Project Description:
This project is a contineous one associated with the ACRP 03-17 proposal. In the Spring 2013 semester, the research team had prepared airport datasets from various resources and statisitcal analysis and surveys are needed in the summer. The Scantek PAC1 software was installed and library files were added. All of the aircract activity counting equipment has now been deployed at TYQ airport. As the temperatures have been below freezing during winter, data collection was challenging. The insufficient data may need to be fulfilled by using special statistical methods. While the Vector VID equipment was installed but a follow-up technical correction needs to be made.
Expected Student Contributions:
The intern will help statistical analysis as well as conducting surveys to various airports to purify data.

GPA: 3.0 Skills: statistical analysis using SAS, Minitap, or equivalent tools.
