Project Description:
Lipid-based systems have attracted much interest in recent years across the biotech, pharmaceutical and food industries along with the growing interest and investments in nanotechnology based products.The objective of this project is the preparation and characterization of lipid-based systems to enhance nutraceutical and food additive delivery.
Expected Student Contributions:
The student will help in designing and conducting the preparation and characterization of the lipid based formulations. The student will analyze teh obtained data and modify the methodology until optimize approach is achieved based on paticular criteria. The student will have to do some literautre review on the topic and discuss with expected input with graduate student and faculty the methodology and results.

GPA acceptable, chemistry is desirable, no special training is required but a must on the following: commitment, motivation and reliability.
