Project Description:
The project is to connect with STEM teachers in K-12 and understand the areas where they are struggling to teach content. And understanding the areas of STEM research where students are not connecting to the knowledge. This data will be used to give teachers examples of career related problems that can be used to enhance student learing.
Expected Student Contributions:
The intern would be doing some classroom observation with teachers in the West Lafayette and Lafayette area. They would be talking with K-12 students and teachers to understand where there are needs for tools to teach STEM.

Desired Qualifications:
GPA 3.0 min., ability to visit in K-12 classrooms, would have to pass a background check to be able to enter a school. computer skills, experience with data analysis.
