Project Description:
The foundation of diabetes management is adherence to a dietary pattern that controls blood glucose levels. This project seeks to evaluate the roles of communication with the health care provider and between spouses in adhering to dietary recommendations.
Expected Student Contributions:
The intern will administer the dietary assessment tools, complete data entry of the information, assess the dietary intakes, and evaluate the results. In addition, the intern will collaborate with students from other disciplines. The study site is off-campus, therefore the student will complete some activities off-campus.
