Project Description:
This project seeks fundamental understanding of nanoparticle interaction with the local radiative and molecular environments. The information learned will be used to develop biomimetic energy conversion nanosystems.
Expected Student Contributions:
The intern student will be paired with a graduate student to synthesize colloidal nanomaterials and characterize the optical and electrochemical properties.

Desired Qualifications:
Chemistry and chemical engineering major, GPA > 3.7, laser and wet chemistry experience
