Project Description:
Motivated individual with interest in optics, willing to participate in project dealing with measurement of nonlinear properties of new materials. Brand new state of the art installation using femtosecond laser and several parametric oscillators is currently under construction.This project has great potential to be pioneering work due to active and so far quite successful new optical materials search being underway in our lab.
Expected Student Contributions:
Opportunities include data acquisition, coding and optical layout design.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience in writing codes and working with optical setups is preferred
