Project Description:
The Biowall is a plant-based filter for improving IAQ in buildings. The device is being tested in a laboratory now and will be moved to a residence soon for further testing and commercialization.
Expected Student Contributions:
Data is being collected on the pressure, temperature, and humidity implications of a biowall in a real building. These data need to be analyzed to help quantify the overall impact of a biowall on sensible and latent energy loads in a house on an annual basis.
