Project Description:
The Biowall is a plant-based filter for improving IAQ in buildings. The device is being tested in a laboratory now and will be moved to a residence soon for further testing and commercialization.
Expected Student Contributions:
Lab testing is being done to quantify the clean air delivery rate of the biowall based on its ability to remove VOC's from air. Additional analysis is being done specifically on the use of activated carbon to capture and remove VOC's from air.
